FIRST Robotics
FIRST Robotics
FIRST Robotics is a competition held by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1989 by Dean Kamen. FIRST values align well with the Kents Hill's CyberHuskie's robotics team for example:
Discovery: The CyberHuskie’s enjoy hands-on learning finding new ways to better both our team and robot. We take each competition as a valuable learning experience and use it to better both our team and our robot.
Impact: We are deeply committed to positively influencing student's education and encourage each other to grow and experiment. On top of that we are actively working on improving our impact to the greater maine community through education and service.
Inclusion: With a diverse student body we accommodate both boarding and day students by making resources available to all and ensuring that we contribute to continue to build a healthy environment.
Teamwork: We acknowledge our peers and work together to create awesome projects, helping each other with everything and anything while respecting our teammates. No matter what your idea is we will listen and give it plenty thought
